Matthews Crowned Men’s Singles Champion
Oliver Matthews became the third youngest men’s singles champion in the history of the Beckenham LTC Championships (since 1895) on Saturday, 18 July.
Aged 14 years, 11 months, Matthews followed in the footsteps of two previous 14-year-old titlists, 1996 winner Daniel Holmes and 2010-13 victor James Oni.

The wonderful afternoon tea of cakes and sandwiches, served in the Summer Pavilion, raised £146.
