Saturday Tea Rota
Adult members take it in turns to make Saturday afternoon teas, a tradition that dates back more than 100 years.
If you cannot make your allotted date, please arrange for someone else to take your place, but remember to amend the master copy on the tennis notice board.
Tea will be sandwiches and cakes: usually one to two loaves of bread and two to three cakes are adequate – depending on the weather. Teabags, sugar, coffee etc. are provided but please bring milk with you. Tea is served at approximately 4 p.m.
Tea money: Prices are posted on the wall. A record of takings, expenses and profit should be written in the book which is kept in the second drawer down. Take your expenses and put any profit into a small plastic bag kept with the book. Please give the profit to any committee member, which will go towards the Tea Fund.
