New Clay Courts – work commences 17 August

We are pleased to inform you all that as of tomorrow, Thursday 17 August, work will commence on the new clay courts. Construction will take approx. 6 weeks to complete and so the new courts should be ready at the end of September.

In order to minimise disruption for our members we have decided to keep the Grass Courts open until the end of September to ensure that there will be court availability during this period. There will need to be some changes at weekends to ensure that all members are able to play. As such, Saturday Club sessions will be run on the Acrylic and Grass courts, with Improver sessions using the Clay courts. All Junior coaching will move to the Clay courts during this period.

We appreciate all the hard work and effort that has been made so far to get us to this point and ask for your consideration and understanding during these next six weeks.
